We collect information you provide when placing orders, making catering inquiries, or contacting us. We may also collect usage data to improve the site experience.
Information is used to process orders, respond to inquiries, improve our service, and share updates when you opt in.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us using the details listed on the Contact Us page.
When you use the Ayewamu mobile app, we access your device's precise location only while the app is open and in use, so you can select or confirm a delivery address and so we can calculate an accurate delivery distance and fee. We never collect your location in the background or while the app is closed, and location data is used only to fulfill your order, not for advertising or sold to third parties.
The mobile app lets you sign in using Face ID, fingerprint, or another biometric method built into your device, purely for your convenience. Your biometric data (such as a fingerprint or facial scan) is captured and matched entirely by your device's own operating system - it is never sent to, or stored on, our servers. Our servers only receive a secure, revocable device token confirming that biometric authentication succeeded. You can disable biometric sign-in at any time in the app's settings or your device settings.
If you allow push notifications, we store a device-specific push token (issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging) linked to your account so we can notify you about your order, such as confirmation, preparation, and delivery updates. This token identifies your device for delivering notifications only; it does not contain personal information itself. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device or app notification settings, which stops new tokens from being stored and lets you request removal of the existing one.
Reach our team and we will respond as quickly as possible.
